Faculty roles

MRCS OSCE faculty (£300 a day)

Guide surgical candidates through simulated MRCS OSCE stations and give structured feedback on clinical, communication and procedural skills.

• Assess 4 to 5 stations a day and observe candidate performance.
• Give concise, constructive feedback in 5-minute debriefs.
• Focus on history taking, examination and technical skill.

MRCEM Primary faculty (£300 a day)

Teach high-yield MRCEM Primary topics, including anatomy, physiology, pathology, microbiology and evidence-based medicine.

• Lead sessions covering 200+ MCQs with reasoning and key points.
• Use diagrams, skeletons and digital tools for interactive teaching.
• Optional: contribute to online question banks, quizzes and webinars.

MRCEM SBA faculty (£300 a day)

Lead interactive discussions covering 250+ single best answer questions, with a focus on clinical reasoning and exam technique.

• Teach focused modules, such as trauma, toxicology and paediatrics.
• Explain the principles behind the best answer and common pitfalls.
• Optional: write SBA questions or deliver themed webinars.

MRCEM OSCE faculty (£300 a day)

Mentor emergency medicine candidates through OSCE scenarios, focusing on clinical accuracy and communication.

• Assess and supervise 4 to 5 OSCE stations a day.
• Give detailed 5-minute feedback with clear next steps.
• Coach confidence, patient-centred communication and time management.

Digital content creators

We invite clinicians who know the MRCS or MRCEM curricula to help build e-learning resources:

• MCQ and SBA question banks with explanations
• Short video tutorials on high-yield topics
• Interactive case studies and revision tools

Pay for content work is project-based and depends on scope and deliverables.
